Partnering with Commonwealth//McCann, we brought Chevy’s beloved jingle, “Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet” back to life. By collaborating with the Mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, we created a never-before-seen treat: the Apple Pie Hot Dog. It was offered exclusively at the MLB Field of Dreams Game in August 2021.

Posting teasers and interactive videos via TikTok, X and Instagram the week leading up to the Field of Dreams Game we created massive buzz around this culinary collaboration while keeping Chevy at the forefront of every baseball fan’s mind.

For this spot, we had Guy stand in front of two generations of Corvettes—a classic and a modern version—representing both a timeless legacy and the resurrection of the classic Chevy jingle, hinting at the exciting collaboration to come.

The Recipe

This icon combines a flaky pie crust with sweet apple pie filling, a juicy all-beef frank and a hint of apple pie spice, topped with tangy apple mustard sauce and smoky bacon jam for a perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky flavors.
